Shirt & Bag: Zara | Trousers: New Look | Fringe Waistcoat: H&M
Hat & Shoes: Primark
Hi all! Hope you’re well.
I particularly love this look not just because it’s an effortless monochrome look, but mainly because of the unique, yet not over-bearing, pieces that makes the outfit. These pieces will also pass for some of my favourite items in my wardrobe currently.
I got the shirt from Zara sometime last month; I’ve worn it about 3, maybe 4 times already. I adore it for the lace ruffled detailing on the neckline, also running down the button line. It somewhat reminds me of my legal background. Something about my presupposition of what a lawyer or judge should look like. Hm, one day.
I absolutely love smart peg-leg trousers. I wear them every other day, even when not working in a formal environment. I got them at a bargain also. I’d picked it up with a price tag of £19.99, and at the till it registered £5! I was like, “Yes, damn please!” Ah!
You all know I love the fringed waistcoat; second time it’s appearing on the blog. The brooch; the shoes; the hat – the endearing contrast between the suede and braided leather. I love them all! LOL! I guess it’ll be accurate to say I love everything tasselled and fringed.
What are your favourite pieces currently? Share them below, would love to know.
Funmi xx
Ps; Birthday’s coming up soon. You now know what to get me! 😀
