Dress: Zara | Thigh-High Boots: Public Desire | Jewellery: H&M
Fur: New Look
I’d seen a lady wear a similar dress at a Christmas party last year. As soon as I saw it, I imagined myself in it. Not only did it flirt with my imagination, it also brought some memories of gladiators and female action heroes to mind. I believe it’s the intentional constructive edge the dress has to it – the sharp panels on the skirt. I could see a character like Cat Woman wear a similar outfit. I imagined myself as a peer; FumStar, you’d call me. Okay, maybe something more creative, LOL! Or imagine a characterised Olivia Pope, hmm…Anyway before I get carried away, that was my main inspiration for this look.
The dress is from Zara, inexpensive too. I also appreciate the dress for a sense of decency it encompasses, characterised by its high neckline and also skirt attached.
Ever imagined yourself as an action hero? What would you be?
