Hi all, hope you’re well.
On this post, I’ll be sharing my experience at yet another Bloggers Hangout Event, which was held in Hoxton – same venue as the last. Although I’d planned to attend both the morning and evening sessions, due to unforeseen circumstances, I was only able to attend the last hour or so of the evening session.
On arriving, there were still a good number of brands available, although most were beginning to put their stalls away. I was able to speak to a few and was gifted, generously I must say. Find below some pictures and brief overview of the products received. A link to their webpages are also provided. Be sure to check them out. A detailed review of some of the products will be provided at a later date.
WALEDA: Celebrating its 90th year and having received numerous awards for their products, Waleda is well known for its Skin food; mainly catering towards dry and rough skin. The creams can be applied to faces, elbows, hand and feet. My feet will certainly benefit from this…*side eye*. Will keep you updated on the progress.
PURE POTIONS: I particularly like the story behind the initiation of the brand. It was founded by a mother who wanted to find an effective, safe, natural and non-steroidal moisturiser for her daughter’s dry skin. All products are carefully formulated so they are also suitable for use by people who may be prone to eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and other dry or itchy skin conditions. I personally don’t need it for those causes. However the lady advised that I could use the bath and body oil regardless. There’s no such thing as too much care, is there?
PAUL MITCHELL: The first professional beauty company to stand up against animal testing and uphold a stance on caring for people and the planet. Paul Mitchell prides on providing the highest quality professional hair care products at reasonable prices. Although it’d be perfect for silky hair, my wigs are going to benefit from this product. Lol. Sorry guys, I love the wigs and this is an important aspect of caring for them.
KENNETH TURNER: Recently rebranded – now embodying a unique packaging which is highly suitable for gift giving, Kenneth Turner produces home fragrances and hand and body products which are made in the UK. The smell great too!
AMIE: A natural skin care and beauty range, bursting with natural plant and botanical extracts and free from harsh chemicals. They are ideal for sensitive skin that can be oily and prone to breakouts or dryness. Can’t wait to try them out; not because I have sensitive skin, but for the fact that it claims to be gentle yet super-effective.
STVDIO 5: A London based company offering 100% vegan beauty products –cruelty free and eco friendly. Products are made by hand, differing slightly in shape colour and scent.
UFIT: Packed with 22g of protein and added fibre, vitamins and minerals, UFIT is designed to support the demands of an active lifestyle and can help keep you healthy and on top of your day. I’ve had 2 bottles already, and it sure did help me stay top of my busy schedule.
BERRYWHITE: Upholding the ethos “tastes good, good for you , and good for others”, Berrywhite offers a delicious range of premium organic sparkling fruit drinks, with no added sugar. It indeed was delicious and I was given a pair of sunnies too – cool, right?
ZEO: Zeo produces lightly carbonated soft drinks, with each bottle containing 98% spring water blended with naturally extracted fruits and botanicals. A 275ml bottle of Zeo contains less than 30 calories. How healthy can that get? It tasted great too.
L.A.B 2: A stylish beauty line that prides itself in creating innovative, trend-setting beauty products with top-rated quality as we blend excitement and sophisticated edge together. Still can’t believe they were generous enough to give me all these products. Was particularly excited about the brushes and mascara wands, as they come in different shapes for various purposes. Can’t wait to try them out, will certainly provide a review once I’ve done so.
THUMBSUP NAILS: A maker of high quality designer nail are wraps. They are easy to apply, well seems so when the brand representative applied it on me. I hope I’m able to achieve the same results. Be sure to follow me on Instagram where I’ll show you all if it does turn out right.
Sorry it’s been a long post. I however do hope it has been informative.
Will be right back,
Funmi xx

Sounds like a great event! I would love to go to a a Blogger Hangout to meet other bloggers and talk with brands. Thanks for sharing!
That’s Exciting! My goal this summer is to attend as many events I possibly can. While I am a little nervous, this post gave me the boost of confidence I needed!
