Victorian Top: H&M | Skirt & Bag: Zara

Coat: Dorothy Perkins | Earrings: Stradivarius

Hi all, hope everyone’s well and having a great week. Winter finally seems to have caught up with us, so I can’t wait to change my hair this week as my ears have been frosty with this short look. Haha! More importantly, may I take this time to say a massive thank you for the warm welcome back and your response to my last post; it is very much appreciated.

Without much ado, let’s get onto today’s post!

Today’s look is relatively a simple, smart, stylish, yet ideal-for-work-setting outfit. With the Victorian collar shirt currently on trend, having styled this top previously in the summer (here), it was without a doubt that I’d reintroduce it to suit this season’s tale. Wanting to balance work wears with the seasonal after parties, this look stands perfectly ideal. I  believe it also lends to bridging the gap between the Victorian age and the modern city life.

Pairing it with a plaid skirt for added detail; a smart coat and heels; glam earrings and a detailed bucket bag…when did you say the Christmas party was again? 😉

Be Right Back,

Funmi xx

  1. I’m top heavy and bottom heavy so I always thought Victorian collars would make me look like a school teacher. But I love the way you styled this outfit. You look beautiful. Loving the new short hair 🙂 Looking good Fumi

  2. I loved your Victorian collar and your skirt! You look amazing and the hair, wow, it’s so classy! I grant, in the winter it can freeze years, but it’s so lovely and contemporary! You look very beautiful! Hope you have a lovely week!
