Lace Trim Dress – Romwe

Dress: Romwe | Bucket Bag: Topshop | Sandals: Primark

Denim Jacket: Zara

Hi all! Hope everyone’s well and having a great start to this month. We’re fast approaching the end of this year; four months and some weeks to go. Can we just pause for a few, pleaseeee? Ah!

That aside, of recent I’ve learnt to appreciate people more; especially family and friends. Life really is fleeting, one day they’re with us and the next, probably not so. So I’ll encourage you all, myself included, to take time out not only to appreciate loved ones, but also tell them (both vocally and by your actions) how much they mean to you.

Onto today’s look, this outfit features the second dress from my collaboration with Romwe. I very much like the lace detail on this dress. The only thing I didn’t quite appreciate was the lengthy straps, which was fairly easy to adjust using a needle and thread. Besides that, it’s a very suitable dress for the summer, which now in London is long gone. Haha. It’s all so grey and wet now; sigh.

Hope you like the outfit! Here’s a link to the dress.

I certainly will be right back,

Funmi xx

  1. I really wish a Primark was in the States. I can’t believe the end of the year is only 4 months away. Every year is going by faster and faster. I need to appreciate more also, thanks for reminding me. I love this dress on your, the sleeves are so sexy.

    1. Girrrl! Firstly, we totally would be friends if we were in the same space! I saw your last message, just been unable to respond since my last posting.

Thanks for stopping by once again, and thank you for your kind remarks. Indeed every year seems to be going faster and faster; almost can’t keep up. Nonetheless, hope you’re well. I’ll be stopping by yours in a few 😉 xx

Ps; Can’t believe you have no Primark! Hope you do one day; sooner than later.

  2. Your post is quite nostalgic. Our loved ones are the most important things and it does hurt most times when it’s not reciprocal. Nonetheless that dress is simply gorgeous and sexy. I love the lace detailing and the colour best

  3. I completely agree with you, the year has gone so fast! I absolutely adore your bag, I thought about buying it myself a couple of months ago! x

  4. Ms Funmi Fums! I’ve been away from the blogosphere for a minute and now I’m back for a wee bit and catching up on my reading. Yes, I need to be more vocal and say thank you to the people that put a cherry on my cake….aaaand I love the cut out shoulder detail of your dress- very sexy. X

  5. I really loved this dress, you look amazing! Yes, the year is running so fast… you are right, we learn how to appreciate some things and people more… as time goes by! Sorry I have been absent, but I have been so horribly busy at uni! Hope you have a great weekend!
