Hi all! Hope you’re well and have had a great week! Have you really? Leave a comment below telling me what you got up to.
On today’s post, I’ll be providing a review of Naturigin’s hair colours. I came across the brand at a Bloggers Hangout event earlier this year and was immediately impressed by their products. You can say I was “impressed at first sight”. Lol. Naturigin is an award winning hair colour brand whose hair dyes ranges over 19 permanent hair colours. Their products are 100% free of ammonia, parabens, resorcinol and SLS. Products are cruelty free and vegan tolerating. The knowledge of this made me even more impressed, yet inquisitive as to how well the product would work without those well known chemicals which are highly employed in most hair dyes.
Following the event, correspondence with their representatives was smooth, and they provided the necessary information I needed to be aware of. I was sent two boxes of the hair dyes in the colours, Copper Brown 4.6 and Natural Medium Blonde 7.0; as requested by me. Just in case you haven’t noticed, or are new to my page, I’m not so experimental with my hair. However, they do come with a surprise. My go-to hair, especially for the sunny seasons, would be brown hair with red/copper undertones, which can only be seen when it bounces of a reflection of light. See – surprise! Haha. Now you’re wondering, ‘what’s the blonde for?’. Ah-ha, for the fact that my hair’s really dark, there’s only so much the blonde shade can do to highlight naturally (without bleach). It in fact produces a natural highlight of the copper-brown colour, which always is my goal, really.
Application of the product was easy. Each pack of hair dye contains an activator, colour cream, colour lock and instruction manual. Being aware that the content of the product are organic made the process enjoyable, as the hair isn’t being exposed to condescending chemicals.
As I had a box of each colour to work with, I was quite anxious at the onset of the application. It was a matter of whether or not I’d have enough to coat my hair – the base copper-brown especially. However, it turned out to be sufficient.
Shall we talk about its scent? The hair dye has an appealing, almost earthy, and endurable fragrance, which happened to clear of in less than an hour of application. Yes, almost like nothing happened! I’m sure you all know what it’s like using ammonia filled products – The long lasting, unpleasant, overbearing smell they exhume. Sigh. Also to mention is the fact that it left no dye stains. I’m highly impressed.
Final verdicts – I very much like the product. It provided a great coverage and left my hair feeling thoroughly conditioned. I certainly will use it again. Do try them out; I’m sure you’ll be equally as impressed.

Love the color on you! I’m like you – not very experimental with my hair but switching it up for the summer is always fun!
