Hi all, welcome to Day 2 of our Seven Days of Blogmas series! Hope you’re well and having a great day.
Ps; Did you miss the first post providing some holiday gift guides for Him and Her? Be sure to check it out here.
On today’s post I’ll be sharing with you how I transformed my chosen staple piece, a Zara fringed top, from a daytime look to a more formal affair. On seeing this top at the store, I knew it’d be ideal for this season. Its style portrayed it versatile enough for varying occasions, subject to its pairings.
For the day look, I chose to pair it with a light blue, slightly fringed pair of trousers to enable the top emit its chicness. Boots and hats are so in this season, they had to join the bandwagon.
For the evening look, I chose to pair the top with my long fringed waistcoat worn as a skirt. Whilst using my fringed brooch as a fastening (Say no to surprise flashes LOL! ;)). Coupled with a matching clutch, I knew it was essential that the shoes had character of its own in order to create a balance.
I do hope you like this look; do leave a comment below sharing your thoughts. Besides, what are your holiday staple pieces?
Be Right Back,
Funmi xx

Hi Funmi. Both looks are so gorgeous but I love look 2 the most! The transformation from a waistcoat to skirt is really creative and you pulled it off so well by adding the brooch. Compliments of the season!
