African Print

Dress: Made by Myself | Purse: Next | Sneakers: Stradivarius

Hi all!  Hope everyone’s well and have had a great weekend.

*Covers face* I know I’ve been away for too long; but the break was essential y’all. My June schedule was wild, didn’t want to stretch myself too thinly. Neither did I want to be here half heartedly. Forgive me please, will you? I’m back now *cheers*.

I’ve missed creating content, visiting your blogs and staying updated on everyone’s welfare – especially my fellow Londoners and those in Manchester, amidst the recent unfortunate circumstances. I truly hope you all are well.

On today’s post we’ll be hosting a guest blogger, Jennifer Amani; the Queen of African Prints, I like to call her. She’s very much in love with African prints, and most of her looks are created using this fabric choice. So when she approached me asking us to collaborate, it was no brainer that we’d work with the fabric. Both our dresses were custom made, but for more information on Jennifer’s outfit, be sure to visit her page. Also later this week, we’ll share how these garments can be styled for an evening look.

Be Right Back,

Funmi xx

I’m dating a guy from Africa right now, we are daydreaming about our wedding and he wants me to do a wardrobe change from a classic wedding dress to a beautiful African print dress for the reception, of course, I’m up for it, and I’m loving the print you and Jennifer are wearing. I’m happy you took a break Funmi, blogging is a full-time job you need to take some time off for yourself, but you were missed.
