Hey my lovely, how are you doing? Yes, YOU…how are you, really?

Hey my lovely, how are you doing? Yes, YOU…how are you, really? With so much going on around us and it being such an uncertain time, I hope for most part you’re able to connect with yourself in a way that makes you safe, physically guarded, mentally whole, emotionally stable and spiritually fuelled. How have you ensure all these during this time? For me, remaining positive have meant being mindful of how much of the news I indulge in; besides family, I try to keep motivated people around me, of course virtually; and more importantly, I rest in the promises of God which over the past years have proven true in my life.

I’d love to share some of those promises with you. However before I do, without being ignorant, I can understand you might not have had the best of times over the past weeks; you might have contracted the virus and had to deal with recovering, lost a loved one maybe, felt alone or even worry due to a lost contract or career prospect. Even in the most uncertain of times, one thing stands – this too will pass. And while we transition to a newer stage of life, I’ll encourage you to rest in the comfort and peace that God has got you and everything will work out just fine.

5 Ps of God’s Promises during this time and always:

Partnership: God wants you to know that you are not alone during this time. As His word says, He will not leave you or forsake you. Be rest assured that even in your sleeping and waking, He has His hands on you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Peace: There are several levels to peace, but just one that can stand through all manner of circumstances. This can only be found when you choose to rest in Him. Let go of the worries and anxiety that weigh you down. His plans are to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).  So keep your eyes, heart and mind on Him and He will keep you in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).

Protection: Psalm 91 beautifully describes His covering over us. Because you love Him and are His, He will rescue you and protect you. You will call on Him and He sure will answer; He will be with you in trouble, with long life He will satisfy you.

Provision: His provision is readily available, albeit financially, physically, emotionally or mentally. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Ask and you will receive. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all he has done and will do. You will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4: 6-7).

Persevere: Finally, Persevere in His presence; He wants to fellowship with you. It’s also an opportunity for you to receive a word, vision and perhaps an innovative idea that will bring about a transformation in your circumstances. Write your ideas and plans down and run with it. Wait for it and don’t lose hope; it will certainly come and will not delay (Habakkuk 2: 2-3).

There you have it. I really do hope you are encourage and challenged to rise above our current situation. Should you want to talk further about the above, or anything in general, my inbox awaits you. You may also send me a DM on instagram.

Be Right Back,

Funmi xx
